The release of the minimalist automated design system CadZinho 0.6.0 has been published, providing tools for creating simple two-dimensional technical drawings. The new version features a new rendering architecture that eliminates interface stalls during operation. The code is written in C with Lua extensions and is distributed under the MIT license. Output is generated using the SDL 2.0 library and OpenGL 3.2 API. Builds are available for Linux, Windows, and macOS, with a port for browser execution built with Emscripten. <\/p>\n

The program supports drawing primitives such as lines, polygonal grids, circles, arcs, ellipses, text, hatching, splines, images, points, labels, attributes, and broken lines. Layer and block functionality is supported. It also works with files in DXF and SVG formats. The output can be exported in G-code, HPGL, PDF, SVG, PS formats, or as images. A scripting language is provided for macro development, extensions, and interface customization. ZeroBrane Studio (Lua IDE) can be used to develop extensions.
