The release of the SysLinuxOS 12.4 distribution, built on the Debian 12 package base and aimed at providing a bootable live environment optimized for system integrators and administrators, has taken place. Builds with GNOME (4.8 GB) and MATE (5 GB) desktops have been prepared for download. The environment operates in Live mode but also supports installation to disk using the Calamares installer. The new release features the Linux kernel updated to version 6.7, and the package base synchronized with Debian 12.4. The organization of menus in GNOME and MATE has been improved.<\/p>\n

Included is a selection of pre-installed applications for network monitoring and diagnostics, traffic tunneling, launching VPN<\/a>, organizing remote access, intrusion detection, security checking, simulating network operations, and traffic analysis, which can be used immediately after loading the distribution from a USB drive.
