CentOS 7 users now have the option to switch to SUSE Liberty Linux repositories, with updates and technical support provided until June 30, 2028. The service costs $2500 per year for 100 subscriptions or $20000 per year for 1000 subscriptions. The standard support period for CentOS 7 ends on June 30, 2024, after which there will be no further vulnerability updates for CentOS 7.  <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, it has been announced that the support period for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 will be extended to 19 years. Updates for the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 branch will be released until 2037. Next year, a new version of SUSE Linux is planned to be formed, based on the ALP (Adaptable Linux Platform), with the key distinction being the separation of the base distribution into two parts: a slimmed-down 'host OS' for operation on hardware and a layer for application support, focused on running in containers. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\"
