Developers from Saber Interactive studio clarified<\/a><\/noindex> the future of their off-road driving simulator SnowRunner<\/a><\/noindex> in the Russian, Belarusian, and Ukrainian segments of Steam and Epic Games Store.<\/p>\n

Recall that in August 2023, SnowRunner disappeared<\/a><\/noindex> from sale in these regions due to issues<\/a><\/noindex> licenses for American Ford trucks in the CIS countries. The vehicles were promised<\/a><\/noindex> to be replaced and the game on January 31<\/a><\/noindex>, but nothing has changed.<\/p>\n

An unforeseen delay occurred<\/a><\/noindex> due to a new round of legal negotiations between Saber Interactive and their licensing partners. Since then, the developers have remained silent and, after five months, finally spoke out about the situation. <\/p>\n

It has become known that SnowRunner will not return to sale in the Russian, Belarusian, and Ukrainian segments of Steam and Epic Games Store. The developers were unable to resolve several issues with licensing partners.<\/p>\n

According to current agreements, licensed content cannot be sold in the specified regions. This applies to both previously released and future expansions for SnowRunner featuring licensed vehicles.<\/p>\n

Saber assured that products already purchased by players will not be taken away, and owners of the fourth year seasonal pass will receive all promised content: \"We are deeply grateful for your support and sincerely regret the situation that has arisen.\"<\/p>\n

SnowRunner was released in April 2020 on PC (EGS), PS4, and Xbox One, and later appeared on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, in Steam, Microsoft Store, and Game Pass (PC, Xbox). The game's audience exceeds 10 million people<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n
