The distribution is built on the Debian package base and includes fresh builds of Wayland libraries (from the master branch), the Weston composite server, and pre-configured environments for working on top of Wayland such as KDE, GNOME, Wayfire (with MATE components), Sway, LXQt, and Xfce. The environment selection is made through the login manager menu, and it is possible to launch a shell from an already running environment in the form of a nested session. An ISO image of 1.7 GB is available for download.           <\/p>\n<p>The distribution includes fresh versions of the Clutter, SDL, GTK, Qt, FreeGLUT, GLFW, KDE Frameworks, and Gstreamer libraries, compiled with Wayland support, and the Xwayland component allows running regular X applications in an environment created with the composite Weston. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/en\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3929\">server<\/a> The distribution also contains Wayland client variants of the mpv media player and KDE applications. For configuring udev and multiseat configuration settings, which allow multiple users to work simultaneously at one workstation with their own keyboards and mice (each user has their independent cursor), a special graphical configurator is provided. Weston includes RDP support. The waypipe utility for remote launching of Wayland-based applications is included in the package.      <\/p>\n<p>Key Changes:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The package base has been updated to Debian 12.\n<li class=\"l\"> Linux kernel has been updated to version 6.10. The DRM Panic mode is enabled to display a visual colored report in the style of the 'blue screen of death' in case of failures.\n<li class=\"l\"> The ttynull driver has been included and patches have been applied to use \/dev\/ttynull as the default console (this allows systemd to correctly display logs through \/dev\/console).\n<li class=\"l\"> Qt5 has been removed from the distribution, keeping only Qt6.\n<li class=\"l\"> In the incoming systemd-logind 252, support for SAK (Secure Attention Key) has been transferred from systemd-logind 257.\n<li class=\"l\"> In the waylandloginmanager, the option to run multiple parallel sessions for a single user has been provided. Instead of zenity for organizing the interface, kdialog is used. The interface for switching between sessions displays the names of the sessions.\n<li class=\"l\"> Instead of wlsuhelper, a simpler-to-use wlsu has been employed.\n<li class=\"l\">  Unified design for the GRUB boot menu, boot splash screen, and login manager. Earlier launch of the Plymouth splash screen during the boot process has been ensured.\n<li class=\"l\"> A new session with the LXQt desktop environment has been added.\n<li class=\"l\"> Projects Liri, Mir, Enlightenment, and Wine have been excluded from the build.
