Over the year, the organization earned $292.2 million (compared to $263.6 million a year ago) and spent $299.7 million ($269 million last year). Spending on Linux kernel development amounted to $6.8 million, which is a million dollars less than last year and $1.4 million less than the year before that. The overall share of expenses related to kernel development among all expenses decreased to 2.3%.
