The ninth correction update for the Debian 12 distribution has been released, incorporating accumulated package updates and installer fixes. This release includes 72 updates addressing stability issues and 38 updates correcting vulnerabilities. <\/p>\n

Notable changes in Debian 12.9 include updates to the latest stable versions of packages such as ansible, intel-microcode, nvidia-graphics-drivers, qemu, systemd, and tzdata. The criu package has been removed (due to build issues on the arm64 architecture) and tk-html3 has been discontinued (the main project is no longer maintained). <\/p>\n

Installation packages prepared with Debian 12.9 are available for fresh installations. Systems that were previously installed and are maintained up to date receive updates included in Debian 12.9 through the standard update installation system. Security fixes included in new Debian releases are available to users as updates are released via the security.debian.org service.
