The composite server Hyprland 0.47 using the Wayland protocol has been introduced. The project focuses on a tiling window layout but also supports traditional free placement of windows, grouping windows in tab form, pseudo-tile mode, and full-screen expansion of windows. It offers features for creating visually appealing interfaces: gradients in window frames, background blur, animation effects, and shadows. Plugins can be added for extended functionality, and IPC based on sockets is available for external control. The code is written in C++ and is distributed under the BSD license. <\/p>\n

Configuration is done through a configuration file, changes to which are applied on the fly without restarting. To enhance gaming performance, there is an option to disable vertical synchronization (VSync) with a frame-damping impulse, used to prevent tearing. Other features include dynamically created virtual desktops; screen element layout modes; global hotkey handling; gesture control on touchpads\/touchscreens. <\/p>\n
