Mozilla has extended support for the previous ESR branch of Firefox 115 until September 2025 (the support period was originally set to end in March). Firefox 115 is the last branch capable of running on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, as well as macOS 10.12, 10.13, and 10.14. The lifespan of the Firefox 115 branch may not be limited to September, as the release note mentions that the matter of further support extension will be considered in August. <\/p>\n

According to February statistics from Mozilla, 7.8% of Firefox users continue to use Windows 7, despite Microsoft ending support for this operating system since January 2020.
