As everyone knows, the C++ programming language is arguably the most extensive among programming languages. Even programmers who have been writing in it for decades can't claim to know it completely. This is why the C++ standardization committee faced a tough decision: to keep the language competitive against the emerging new programming languages, such as Rust, it needs to remove all legacy features, written by unclear goblins in the fuzzy eighties. This will be aided by the well-known developers from Gnome, who, in their time, stripped down all unnecessary features from their desktop environment, making it second to none. They will keep removing features until all the 'pluses' are gone, reducing it down to C, from which C++ evolved, but they won't stop there; they will retain only the minimal C\u2014.<\/p>\n
In particular:<\/p>\n

templates will be removed and replaced with optional dynamic typing (the performance drop will be negligible for modern computers)<\/li>\n
exceptions will be replaced with error codes in the Go style like if err != nil<\/li>\n
the need for build systems will be eliminated; instead, there will be a package manager in the PHP composer style<\/li>\n
multiple inheritance will be removed along with free functions; everything will now be an object, and all objects will inherit from the base class Object<\/li>\n
undefined behavior cannot be completely eliminated due to Stockholm syndrome among developers, so all UB will automatically wrap in a unit test that runs 10 times, and the programmer will be informed of which behavior the compiler chose in most cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The founder of the language, Bjarne Stroustrup, has already expressed skepticism about the changes, arguing that Gnome developers do not use either C++ or Gnome.<\/p>\n
