The release of lsFusion 6.0 is now available, advancing the declarative platform for developing business and web applications. The platform is suitable for creating corporate and accounting applications and can be used as an open-source and free alternative to the 1C platform. The project code is written in Java and is distributed under the LGPLv3 license. The typical ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses, MyCompany, utilizing lsFusion, is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. <\/p>\n
The platform is based on the combinatorial programming paradigm (function-level), which significantly distinguishes lsFusion from existing platforms in the market (such as SAP, Dynamics AX, 1C, .Net). It also actively employs event-driven, reactive, and object-oriented programming. The sixth version focuses on enhancing the web interface: deep integration with Bootstrap, support for PWA, modern browser APIs, and expanding tools for creating flexible forms and interfaces. <\/p>\n

Integration with Bootstrap: all system elements (forms, buttons, etc.) automatically use standard Bootstrap classes; several pre-configured themes are available; simplified customization through the class attribute.\n
New selection UI components: switches, checkboxes, button groups, radio buttons, and drop-down lists in Bootstrap style; the system can automatically select the most suitable component based on the statistics of possible values.\n
Support for icons: Bootstrap Icons and FontAwesome libraries are built-in; automatic icon selection is implemented based on keywords and element names.\n
PWA and browser APIs: implementation of Share, Notification, and Push APIs for native sharing, notifications, and push messages; the ability to install the application as a progressive web app.\n
Explicit specification of HTML tags and input types: support for date, time, color, range, month types, and a custom yearpicker; the developer can explicitly specify the tag and type of the input element.\n
Extended property attributes: placeholder, pattern, regexp, tooltip, comment, as well as flexible positioning and alignment settings through panelCaption* and panelComment* have been added.\n
Popup containers: deferred content loading upon click, reducing the load on the interface and speeding up the initial rendering.\n
Tiny\/Mini styles: compact UI element sizes to minimize scrolling in ERP applications.\n
Arrow buttons: special styles for visualizing and managing processes in the interface.\n
WebSocket module: receiving and sending text and binary messages, events for opening\/closing connections, and built-in socket management.\n
