An experimental release of the open implementation of the Win32 API \u2014 Wine 10.10 has been published. Since the release of 10.9, 38 bug reports have been closed and 234 changes have been made. <\/p>\n

The Wine Mono engine has been updated to release 10.1.0. Wine Mono is a distribution of the Mono Framework designed for use in Wine instead of the proprietary .NET Framework component.\n
The dependency on the OSMesa (Off-screen Mesa) library has been removed.\n
In the implementation of the Interface Description Language WIDL (Wine Interface Definition Language), support for generating Windows Runtime (WinRT) metadata has been expanded.\n
The localization data has been updated to Unicode CLDR version 47 (Unicode Common Locale Data Repository).\n
Support for the P010 format has been added to the Media Foundation framework implementation.\n
Versions of faudio 25.06, mpg123 1.33.0, libpng 1.6.48, and xslt 1.1.43 have been updated. <\/li>\n

Bug reports related to the following games have been closed: Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots, Braid, Burger Shop, Horizon Chase, F.E.A.R, .T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, The Fidelio Incident, Eador: Masters of the Broken World, Unreal 2, Vampyr, StarCraft Remastered. <\/ul>\n
Additionally, the release of the DXVK 2.6.2 layer is notable, providing an implementation of DXGI (DirectX Graphics Infrastructure), Direct3D 8, 9, 10, and 11, which operates through call translation into the Vulkan API. DXVK requires drivers with support for Vulkan API 1.3. DXVK can be used to run 3D applications and games on Linux with Wine, serving as a higher-performance alternative to the built-in Wine Direct3D implementations running on top of OpenGL. <\/p>\n

An environment variable DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_UUID has been added to filter devices by UUID on systems with multiple identical GPU models.\n
Configuration parameters d3d9.hide{Amd,Intel,Nvidia}Gpu have been added, improving the logic for GPU identifier overriding, which can be useful for running games that refuse to launch on certain GPUs or that provide limited functionality on them.\n
In dxvk-native, the choice of WSI backend has been improved.\n
Issues with incorrect refresh output in some games for virtual reality headsets have been resolved.\n
