A week ago, the Debian 13 branch was put into a complete freeze state before the release, during which the transfer of any package changes to the Testing branch is halted (exceptions can only be made upon special request and through manual review by the release preparation team). The release is scheduled for August 9.     <\/p>\n<p>Changes compared to the previous test version of the installer include:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The main mirror list has been updated.\n<li class=\"l\"> The package linux-image-powerpc64le-64k has been added for builds for the ppc64el architecture.\n<li class=\"l\"> Udeb cleanup has been conducted to reduce the size of the installation images.\n<li class=\"l\"> The Linux kernel has been updated to version 6.12.38+deb13.\n<li class=\"l\"> Improvements have been made to the images generated by the depthcharge tooling.\n<li
