Like the previous model, the new router uses a proprietary fork of the open platform OpenWRT, supplied under the name Turris OS. The device is available for sale at a price of 561 euros. Support and firmware updates will be provided for 10 years.      <\/p>\n<p>The device goes beyond a typical router and wireless access point and is positioned as a digital hub for homes and small\/medium enterprises. In addition to networking capabilities, it provides tools for deploying network-attached storage (NAS), <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/en\/vpn\/\"   title=\"VPN\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"287\">VPN<\/a>, backup solutions, creating print servers, and running arbitrary server applications.       <\/p>\n<p>Based on the Sentinel platform, the firmware features a dynamic firewall with intrusion detection and traffic flow monitoring elements. The firmware updates automatically without requiring any user actions. Management is performed via a web interface or command line.     <\/p>\n<p>Among the firmware features is the built-in ability to run Linux containers using the LXC toolkit.
