In 2024, the share of mobile devices was 41%.\n<li class=\"l\"> The share of iOS in mobile device traffic increased from 33 to 35% over the year. The share of Android decreased from 67 to 65%.\n<li class=\"l\"> Based on the analysis of queries to the DNS server 1.1.1.1, the rankings are calculated:\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Top 10 most popular internet services: Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Instagram, AWS, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon, WhatsApp. Compared to 2024, Microsoft, Instagram, and YouTube moved up one position, while Amazon Web Services (AWS) fell one position, and TikTok fell four positions.\n<li class=\"l\"> Top 10 AI services: OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini, Character.AI, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf AI, QuillBot, xAI Grok, DeepSeek. Compared to 2024, Perplexity, Claude\/Anthropic, and GitHub Copilot climbed the rankings. New entries include Google Gemini, Windsurf AI, Grok\/xAI, and DeepSeek.\n<li class=\"l\"> Top 10 social networks: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X\/Twitter, Kwai, Discord, Pinterest, Reddit. Compared to 2024, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Kwai improved their rankings. TikTok, X\/Twitter, and Discord saw declines.\n<li class=\"l\"> Top 10 messengers: WhatsApp, QQ, Telegram, Viber, Signal, WeChat, LINE, Messenger, Zalo.me, KakaoTalk. Compared to 2024, Signal, Messenger, Zalo.me, and KakaoTalk improved their rankings. WeChat's ranking decreased.\n<li class=\"l\"> Top 10 gaming platforms: Roblox, PlayStation, Xbox\/Xbox Live, Epic Games\/Fortnite, Steam, Electronic Arts, Blizzard, Minecraft, Riot Games\/League of Legends, Nintendo.  <\/ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Market share of search engines: Google \u2014 89.5%, Bing \u2014 3.1%, Yandex \u2014 2%, Baidu \u2014 1.4%, DuckDuckGo \u2014 1.2%.\n<li class=\"l\"> Traffic on Starlink doubled in 2025. Internet access via Starlink has become available in 20 new regions.\n<li class=\"l\"> The share of human queries to HTML pages in all traffic was 43.5%, the share of Googlebot was 4.5%, the share of AI bots was 4.2%, and other bots accounted for 47.9%.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cloudflare&#039;s Internet Status Report for 2025\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/a585caa16913eca64a33bda5189c36f7.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>\n<li class=\"l\"> The share of web traffic generated by humans, which uses algorithms resistant to brute force attacks by quantum computers, increased from 29% to 52% over the year. This significant growth is attributed to the introduction of support for such encryption algorithms in iOS 26.\n<li class=\"l\"> 28% of traffic from verified bots was attributed to Googlebot, while 7.5% to OpenAI GPTBot. The most popular marketing platforms are HubSpot (30%), Marketo (14%), and MailChimp (12%).\n<li class=\"l\"> Popular web frameworks: Next.js \u2014 38%, Express \u2014 21%, Nuxt.js \u2014 20%, Microsoft ASP.NET \u2014 10%, Ruby on Rails \u2014 4.9%, Yii \u2014 2.3%, Spring \u2014 2.1%, Django \u2014 0.52%.\n<li class=\"l\"> Popular programming languages: PHP \u2014 45%, node.js \u2014 33%, Java \u2014 15%, Ruby \u2014 2.2%, Python \u2014 1.9%, Perl \u2014 0.98%, C \u2014 0.87%.\n<li class=\"l\"> 20% of all automated API calls are made from clients using Go (12% in 2024), 17% from Python (9.6% in 2024), 11.2% from Java (7.4%), 8.3% from Node.js, and 2.3% from .NET.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cloudflare&#039;s Internet Status Report for 2025\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/5c88570a0be13fdcf8c4a40852858190.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>\n<li class=\"l\"> During the reporting period, 174 significant outages were detected, of which 83 were caused by government-imposed shutdowns, 25 were related to power outages, 19 were due to cable breaks, 14 were technical issues, 5 were fire-related, 5 were weather-related, 3 were attacks, 2 were natural disasters, 2 were configuration errors, 1 was a network issue, and 1 was DNS-related.\n<li class=\"l\"> 6.2% of traffic was blocked as potentially harmful or undesirable for individual clients. In 3.3% of cases, the blocks were related to DDoS attack protection or WAF (Web Application Firewall) blocking.\n<li class=\"l\"> More than 5% of analyzed emails were deemed malicious.\n<li class=\"l\">  DDoS attacks reached a peak intensity of 31 Tbps. The largest attacks this year surpassed previous peak values by 10 times in traffic and 7 times in the number of packets.\n<li class=\"l\"> 40% of bot traffic originates from the US, with Amazon Web
