Before this appointment, Laura Chambers temporarily held the CEO position since March 2024.    <\/p>\n<p>Mozilla will focus on being a trustworthy company. Success will be measured by two criteria \u2014 the promotion of the mission defined in the Mozilla manifesto and achieving market success.       <\/p>\n<p>In the next three years, Mozilla plans to invest in AI to diversify its revenues and attract funding sources distinct from search engine usage fees. It is noted that AI has already changed how people search for information, shop, and make decisions. Mozilla aims to meet the users' need for transparency and privacy in AI usage, positioning Firefox as a reliable and independent product developed according to a business model primarily focused on user interests.      <\/p>\n<p>Three principles have been identified for the future development of Mozilla:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Users should have the ability to control the product's operations. There must be clarity regarding privacy issues, the use of user data, and AI (users should know why each feature works as it does and what benefits they gain from it).
