Updates within the stable 24.10 series are also supported. <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/openwrt.org\/docs\/guide-user\/installation\/attended.sysupgrade\">Attended Sysupgrade<\/a>, allowing installed packages to be retained.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sysupgrade from version 22.03 to 24.10 is officially unsupported.<\/li>\n<li>For the ipq806x platform (Qualcomm Atheros), there is no config migration path as it has transitioned to <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/openwrt.org\/docs\/guide-user\/network\/dsa\/start\">DSA<\/a>. Update without saving settings.<\/li>\n<li>Linksys E8450 \/ Belkin RT3200: Users on version 23.05 and below need to use the installer <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/dangowrt\/owrt-ubi-installer\/releases\/tag\/v1.1.3\">v1.1.3<\/a> or newer to reorganize UBI partitions. Updating without the installer will result in the device becoming 'bricked'. <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/openwrt.org\/toh\/linksys\/e8450#upgrading_an_ubi_installation_to_new_releases_after_2024-02_includes_all_snapshots_2410-snapshots_24100-rcx_releases_and_all_releases_in_the_foreseable_future\">Details in Wiki<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Xiaomi AX3200 \/ Redmi AX6S: On version 23.05 and below, you need to follow <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/openwrt.org\/toh\/xiaomi\/ax3200#upgrading_from_2305_and_earlier_to_upcoming_2410_or_snapshot\">a special procedure from Wiki<\/a> to increase available memory. Updating without this guidance will render the device inoperable.<\/li>\n<li>Zyxel GS1900 series switches: Due to partition layout changes, a clean installation (factory install) via the initramfs image is required. Sysupgrade is not possible. After updating, do not restore the file \/etc\/config\/system from backup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Known Issues<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>LEDs for Airoha AN8855 are not supported yet. On devices like Xiaomi AX3000T, switch indicators will be turned off. A fix is expected in upcoming SNAPSHOT builds and minor release 24.10.<\/li>\n<li>5 GHz Wi-Fi does not work on some devices with ath10k chipsets (e.g., Phicomm K2T, TP-Link Archer C60 v3).
