After more than 5 years of development (visualization using Gource<\/a>: YouTube<\/a>, VK Video<\/a>) the release of version 1.0 Cambalache<\/a> \u2013 tool for creating UIs on GTK 3 and GTK 4.<\/p>\n

The project is written in Python and is distributed under the GNU LGPL 2.1 license.<\/p>\n

Version 1.0 indicates that the project is ready for widespread use. It supports editing, visualization, and the creation of GTK styles in CSS format, XML file editing with GResources, template and widget creation, and the use of GtkBuilder XML files and Blueprint markup.<\/p>\n

The data model can import and export multiple interfaces at once, supports GtkBuilder objects, properties, and signals, provides an operation rollback stack (Undo \/ Redo), and offers the ability to compress command history. The cambalache-db utility is provided for generating the data model from gir files, and the db-codegen utility is available for generating GObject classes from data model tables.<\/p>\n
