The release of the OpenCloud 6.0 platform has been published, allowing you to deploy a system for file sharing and collaborative work on your server. The project was founded as a fork of the OCIS (ownCloud Infinite Scale) platform. Unlike the original ownCloud codebase and its forked project NextCloud, the server side of OpenCloud has been rewritten from PHP to Go. The creators of OpenCloud aimed to eliminate unnecessary functionality and focus on delivering high-quality implementation of the main task \u2014 file collaboration. <\/p>\n

The server part, written in Go, is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license and supports WebDAV, gRPC, Microsoft's RESTful Web API Graph, OCS, OCM 1.1, and OpenID Connect interfaces. The server is built using a microservices architecture and can scale from installations on Raspberry Pi boards to large multi-instance setups.server<\/a>The desktop client is written in C++ using Qt, released under the GPLv3 license, and supports builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
