The stable version of the GNU Coreutils basic system utilities 9.11 is now available, which includes programs such as sort, cat, chmod, chown, chroot, cp, date, dd, echo, hostname, id, ln, and ls. <\/p>\n

The utilities cut, nl, unexpand, and expand have implemented support for multi-byte characters.\n
The cut utility has added options '-w', '-F', and '-O' for compatibility with other systems.\n
In the cat and yes utilities, zero-copy input\/output is utilized when running on Linux, with some tests showing a 15-fold speed increase.\n
In 'cksum --check', improved escaping of file names.\n
The date utility now parses dates in the format 'dd.mm.yy'.\n
The 'shuf -i' operations have been optimized and now run up to 2 times faster.\n
The performance of 'wc -m' has been accelerated by up to 2.6 times when processing multi-byte characters.\n
