An experimental release of the open implementation of the Win32 API \u2014 Wine 11.9 has been published. Since the release of 11.8, 24 bug reports have been closed and 197 changes have been made. <\/p>\n

In the driver winewayland.drv, which allows using Wine in environments based on the Wayland protocol, the Wayland protocol wp_pointer_warp_v1 is used to set the cursor position instantly to a specified location.\n
A dummy initialization sequence of the virtual method table (d3d9_device_vtbl, Virtual Method Table) has been added to d3d9, consisting only of the method d3d9_device_GetDisplayModeEx. This change has ensured compatibility with the online gaming platform BFME Online Arena.\n
Bug reports related to the operation of applications have been closed: Lotus Notes 8.x, Photoshop CS 2, Logos 9, WinSCP, Homesite 5.5, GOM Player, Graphpad Prism 9, GXSCC, ExamDiff Pro Fileeditor, SteelSeries GG 110.0.\n

At the same time, the Wine Staging project release 11.9 has been formed, providing extended Wine builds that include not fully ready or risky patches, currently unsuitable for acceptance into the main Wine branch. Compared to Wine, Wine Staging offers 273 additional patches. In the new Wine Staging release, synchronization has been achieved with the Wine codebase 11.9, and the vkd3d code has been updated.
