An experimental release of the open implementation of Win32 API \u2014 Wine 11.12 has been published. Since the release of 11.11, 27 bug reports have been closed and 228 changes have been made.<\/p>\n

The libraries libswresample (for audio resampling) and libswscale (for image scaling and pixel format conversion) have been transferred from FFmpeg to Wine. Previously transferred libraries have been updated to FFmpeg version 8.1.1.\n
The Wine Mono engine has been updated to version 11.2.0. Wine Mono is a distribution of the Mono Framework intended for use in Wine instead of the proprietary .NET Framework component.\n
Support for the XSLPattern query language parser (used before XPath) has been implemented in the MSXML (Microsoft XML Core Services) library.\n
The libraries tiptsf.dll and rtscom.dll with stubs for the ITextInputPanel and RealTimeStylus interfaces have been added.\n<\/li>\n
Bug reports related to the operation of applications have been closed: MS Office 2007, Corel PaintShop Pro, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3\/X4, Microsoft Money, LTspice, Progman, Slingplayer, WFServicesReg.exe, Taskkill, Avogadro, Greenshot, ComicRack Community Edition, SymCrypt.\n<\/li>\n
Bug reports related to games have been closed: Against the Storm: Encyclopedia, Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005), Super Hexagon, Sonic Boom.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Simultaneously, Wine Staging 11.12 has been released, providing advanced Wine builds that include not fully ready or risky patches that are currently unsuitable for inclusion in the main Wine branch. Compared to Wine, Wine Staging offers 289 additional patches. The new release of Wine Staging has synchronized with the Wine 11.12 codebase and updated the vkd3d code. The implementations of the tiptsf.dll and rtscom.dll libraries have been transferred to the main Wine. The patch winex11-ime-check-thread-data, which is no longer needed, has been removed. Support for reading and writing with new guard pages has been implemented in ntdll.
