The release of the Firefox 154 web browser has occurred, and updates for the previous long-term support branches -- 153.1.0, 140.14.0, and 115.39.0 have been formed. The Firefox 155 branch is expected to enter beta testing soon, with its release scheduled for September 1. <\/p>\n

The application of the LNA (Local Network Access) specification has been extended to WebSocket connections. To access internal resources, the user must grant the web application special permissions, as this type of activity is exploited by attackers to carry out CSRF attacks on routers, access points, printers, corporate web interfaces, and other devices and services that only accept requests from the local network.
