The ArtCraft project has released clones of seven popular Adobe applications — Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Lightroom, Acrobat Pro, After Effects, and InDesign — recreated in Rust using AI tools. It is stated that currently, more than half of the features are implemented in most applications, while individual programs offer 80% of the functionality of the original products. They aim to achieve feature parity within a month. The project's code is developed under the Apache 2.0 license — Photocraft (Photoshop), Vectorcraft (Illustrator), Filmcraft (Premiere), Lightcraft (Lightroom), Printcraft (Acrobat Pro), Effectcraft (After Effects), Designcraft (InDesign). Builds are available for Linux (AppImage, Flatpak, deb, rpm), macOS, Windows, and web use. Over 70 contributors have joined the development of the Photoshop clone, and the project has received about 20,000 stars on GitHub.

Photocraft (Adobe Photoshop) — only basic functions are present, for example, 60 out of 133 settings — stubs, fully realized 3 tools and partially 14 (13 tools not implemented).

Vectorcraft (Adobe Illustrator) — claims 69-75% of Illustrator's capabilities (40-55% of surveyed users were unable to identify differences). Drawing tools, contour manipulation, shape creation, filling, and text handling are close to completion. Supports SVG, PDF, PDF/X, EPS, DXF, EMF/WMF, PSD, and PDF-compatible .ai files. There is no support for 3D, materials, raster effects, and scripting.

Filmcraft (Adobe Premiere) — claims 87% of capabilities are implemented, while the readiness level for real work is assessed at 50-60%. Tools for editing, cutting, color correction, effects, titles, sound, exporting, and keyframe work are functional. Only exports in H.264 format are supported. Plugin support is lacking, and there are performance issues.

Lightcraft (Adobe Lightroom) — claims 79% of capabilities (readiness level — 60-70%). Supports working with JPEG/DNG and raw images for most Nikon and Sony cameras, as well as older Canon cameras. Currently absent are color calibration features, smart noise suppression modes, masking, video handling, HDR, and support for Fujifilm and Olympus cameras.

Printcraft (Adobe Acrobat Pro) — about half of the features have been implemented. Functions such as viewing, searching, merging and splitting documents, commenting, form creation, password protection, editing to remove confidential data, metadata cleanup, digital signatures, and printing are operational.

Effectcraft (Adobe After Effects) — development is in the early stages, but almost all After Effects tools have already been added in one form or another, including all effects, though operational accuracy is not guaranteed yet. Plugins and projects in aep and aepx formats are not supported.

Designcraft (Adobe InDesign) — around half of the functions have been implemented.
