DinoX is a cross-platform fork of the open communication client Dino, which uses the XMPP protocol. Unlike applications like Psi, Gajim, Pidgin, and MirandaNG, DinoX comes with all relevant XEP specifications available out of the box, without needing to adjust settings or install external plugins. Additionally, DinoX offers a more familiar interface for average users, resembling most messaging apps from the last decade. The code is written in Vala (interface on GTK) and is distributed under the GPLv3 license.<\/p>\n<p>Main Features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Multiplayer chats with support for private groups and public channels.\n<li class=\"l\"> A modern interface reminiscent of Telegram.\n<li class=\"l\"> Support for audio and video calls.\n<li class=\"l\"> Audio and video messages, recording and playback.\n<li class=\"l\"> Image previews.\n<li class=\"l\"> Support for end-to-end encryption via OTR\/OMEMO and OpenPGP.\n<li class=\"l\"> Works in Windows and Linux.\n<li class=\"l\"> Resource consumption comparable to the Psi client written in C++ and Qt.
