The release version of Firefox 66 for desktop platforms has been launched, along with the mobile version for Android OS. These versions introduced support for the 'Scroll Anchoring' mechanism, which helps prevent the situation where scrolling immediately after opening a page causes a gradual shift in position, necessitating repeated scrolling of the content as images and external embeds load.<\/p>\n
