If you use the mobile version of Skype for daily communication with colleagues, friends, and family, you may encounter an issue where the messenger automatically answers incoming calls. Currently, an increasing number of users are contacting Microsoft support regarding this issue that has arisen on Android devices. Many customer reviews have appeared on support forums reporting that the Skype application accepts all incoming calls automatically.  <\/p>\n

It is unclear when the issue arose, but based on customer inquiries, it can be stated that the first instances of automatic responses to incoming calls were recorded as early as January of this year. Currently, there is no workaround that allows users to prevent Skype from accepting incoming calls. According to various online sources, even with the option 'Automatically answer incoming calls' disabled, the application will still do so. The only way to eliminate the problem of automatic call acceptance is to remove the messenger from the device's memory.    <\/p>\n

Microsoft specialists promptly responded to the emergence of this issue. After necessary work was conducted, a beta version of Skype was released, in which the fault was fixed. This version is currently undergoing testing, but anyone interested can download it if needed. A full version of Skype for Android that works correctly is expected to be released soon.
