The second (0.2) version of the transport from Jabber to the Telegram network has been released.<\/p>\n
What is this?<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2014 This transport allows you to communicate with Telegram users from the Jabber network. A Telegram account is required. \u2014 Jabber transports<\/p>\n
Why is this needed?<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2014 For example, if you want to use Telegram on any device that does not have an official client (for instance, the Symbian platform).<\/p>\n
What can the transport do?<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2014 Log in, including using two-factor authentication. \u2014 Send and receive messages to\/from Telegram. \u2014 Work with groups, supergroups, and channels. \u2014 Sync roster and statuses. \u2014 Upload media from the Telegram network.<\/p>\n
What can't the transport do?<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2014 Initiate a dialogue (i.e., a dialogue must already exist, or you must be the first to receive a message). \u2014 Change account settings. \u2014 Make voice and video calls. \u2014 Secret chats. <\/p>\n
