The GNOME initial setup wizard has been modified to include more settings on the first screen, simplifying the activation of location-aware services (e.g. for automatic timezone selection);\n<li class=\"l\"> The Tracker service, which performs automatic file indexing and tracks recent file accesses, is enabled by default;\n<li class=\"l\"> The default right-click handler has been switched to 'Area' mode, in which a right-click can be simulated by touching the lower right part of the touchpad, in addition to the previously supported right-click through a two-finger touch on the touchpad;\n<li class=\"l\"> The default Alt-Tab handler has been switched to 'Windows' mode (switching between windows, not between applications), and to switch between applications, the Super-Tab combination should be used;\n<li class=\"l\"> The order of window thumbnails in the panel has been fixed, which now corresponds to the order in which these windows were opened;\n<li class=\"l\"> In Network Manager, the backend based on the Wi-Fi daemon has been activated  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.kernel.org\/pub\/scm\/network\/wireless\/iwd.git\/\">IWD<\/a><\/noindex>, developed by Intel as an alternative to wpa_supplicant;\n<li class=\"l\"> When installed in a VMware environment, the open-vm-tools package is automatically installed to enhance integration with this virtualization system;\n<li class=\"l\"> The Yaru theme has been updated, and new icons have been added;\n<li class=\"l\"> A new 'Safe Graphics' mode has been added to the GRUB boot menu, which allows the system to boot with the 'NOMODESET' option selected, enabling a boot when there are issues with graphics card support to install proprietary drivers;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> The Linux kernel has been updated to version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50201\">5.0<\/a><\/noindex> supporting AMD Radeon RX Vega and Intel Cannonlake GPUs, Raspberry Pi 3B\/3B+ boards, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, expanded support for USB 3.2 and Type-C, and significant improvements in power consumption;\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> The toolchain has been updated to GCC 8.3 (optionally GCC 9), Glibc 2.29, OpenJDK 11, boost 1.67, rustc 1.31, python 3.7.2 (default), ruby 2.5.5, php 7.2.15, perl 5.28.1, golang 1.10.4, openssl 1.1.1b, gnutls 3.6.5 (with support for TLS 1.3). The toolchain for POWER and AArch64 has been updated to support cross-compilation for<br \/>\n ARM, S390X, and RISCV64;<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> The QEMU emulator has been updated to version <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=49768\">3.1<\/a><\/noindex>, and libvirt to version 5.0.
