Until May 3, Mozilla is conducting survey<\/a><\/noindex>, aimed at better understanding the needs of the communities and projects with which Mozilla collaborates or supports. The survey aims to clarify the interests and characteristics of the current activities of project participants (contributors), as well as to establish a feedback channel. The results of the survey will help shape the future strategy for improving collaborative development processes at Mozilla and attracting like-minded individuals to collaborate.<\/p>\n

We are working on a research project to better understand the communities within Mozilla and the projects conducted or sponsored by Mozilla.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to better understand the communities and networks we partner with at Mozilla. Tracking the current activities of contributors and areas of interest over time should help us move toward this goal. This is data that we have historically not collected, but which we might want to gather, with your permission.<\/p>\n

Mozilla has often asked people in the past to take the time to provide feedback, and may have even reached out to you recently. We also conducted research on projects, looking at contributions in the past without assessing results or publishing them. This project is different. It is broader than anything we have done, and it will shape Mozilla's strategy regarding open practices, and we will publish the results. We hope this encourages your participation.<\/p>\n
