The Russian translation of the course \"Introduction to Computer Science with MakeCode for Minecraft\" is available via the link.<\/a><\/noindex>. <\/p>\n

The course page will likely display in English and won't offer the option to switch to another language, but, like that little gopher, there is indeed a Russian translation. Here's what you need to do: <\/p>\n

  1. visit the Minecode editor page minecraft.makecode.com<\/a><\/noindex><\/li>\n
  2. switch to the Russian language there through the settings (the gear icon in the upper right corner)<\/li>\n
  3. go back to minecraft.makecode.com\/courses\/csintro<\/a><\/noindex><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \nThe course teaches the basics of programming using a block-based visual programming language similar to Scratch. The programs created run in the Minecraft world. For whiz kids wanting to grow into JavaScript developers from a young age, the editor has a tab that allows doing the same, but in JavaScript.     Editor Page<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n

    Feel free to come and check it out; you might find something useful for the learning process.<\/p>\n

    I am translating the course in my free time from architectural work, and I also serve as a junior editor for what others are translating within the MakeCode project (the main editor is the spellchecker in my Chrome).
