Took place<\/a><\/noindex> release of a Linux distribution ClearOS 7.6<\/a><\/noindex>, built on the CentOS package base and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6<\/a><\/noindex>. The distribution is aimed at being used as a server OS in small and medium-sized organizations, including for connecting remote offices into a unified network infrastructure. For download, are<\/a><\/noindex> installation images of 1.1 GB and 552 MB, compiled for the x86_64 architecture. <\/p>\n

ClearOS includes tools for protecting the local network, monitoring external threats, filtering web content and spam, organizing messaging and file sharing, deploying a centralized authorization and authentication server based on LDAP, using it as a domain controller for Windows PCs, and maintaining services for email. When used to create a network gateway, it supports DNS, NAT, proxy, OpenVPN, PPTP, bandwidth management, and internet access organization through multiple providers. Configuration of all aspects of the distribution's operation and package management is performed through a specially created web interface.<\/p>\n

In the new release, besides the changes<\/a><\/noindex> features borrowed from RHEL 7.6, support for annotation libraries for storing<\/a><\/noindex> additional metadata on the IMAP server side, including annotations, of supported providers<\/a><\/noindex> in Cyrus IMAP. It also includes tools for managing and diagnosing servers via iLO 5 and AMIBIOS (for HPE MicroServer Gen10). The business edition integrates a platform for creating cloud storage with NextCloud.<\/p>\n
