GitHub announced<\/a><\/noindex> about the launch of a new service Package Registry<\/a><\/noindex>, which allows developers to publish and distribute application and library packages. It supports the creation of both private package repositories available only to certain developer groups, and public repositories for delivering ready-made builds of their programs and libraries. <\/p>\n

The presented service enables the organization of a centralized process for delivering dependencies directly from GitHub, bypassing intermediaries and platform-specific package repositories.
