The company \"Yandex\" presented a series of new products and services during the event Yet Another Conference 2019: one of them is a \"smart\" home with a voice assistant named \"Alisa.\"<\/p>\n

Yandex's smart home includes the use of intelligent lighting fixtures, \"smart\" sockets, and other household devices. You can ask \"Alisa\" to turn on the lights, lower the temperature on the air conditioner, or increase the volume of the music.<\/p>\n

To control the smart home, you will need a device or app with \"Alisa\": for example, a smart speaker like \"Yandex.Station.\" Commands can be given to one device or several at once. The smart home allows you to set up any scenario: choose the devices and actions you want and create a phrase to activate them. For instance, a greeting like \"Alisa, good morning\" can trigger music playback and turn on the kettle.<\/p>\n

The platform is compatible with dozens of devices made by companies such as Philips, Redmond, Rubetek, Samsung, and Xiaomi. Additionally, Yandex introduced three of its own gadgets for the smart home: a smart bulb, a socket, and a remote. The bulb adjusts the brightness and color of the lighting, the socket allows you to remotely turn connected devices on and off, and the remote controls equipment with an infrared port.<\/p>\n

Another newly introduced gadget is called \"Yandex.Module<\/a><\/noindex>\". It connects to the TV's HDMI port and streams video from the Yandex app to the screen. You can interact with the module through \"Alisa\": in response to a voice command, the assistant can pause a movie or raise the volume. The gadget costs about 2000 rubles.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Yandex launched a personal video channel \"My Broadcast<\/a><\/noindex>» It adapts to viewers' interests and offers each user the most suitable content. The channel provides a variety of materials: movies and clips, interviews, sports competitions, and videos from bloggers. The service selects what will be interesting for each viewer. When choosing content, «Yandex» uses its knowledge about users: what they watch on the company's services, which videos they rate, and what topics they are interested in. The service creates a program tailored for a couple of days for each person, as well as selections of movies and shows. Viewers can rate videos and remove anything unsuitable from the program, and the service will immediately find a replacement.<\/p>\n

Another new product from «Yandex» is the family subscription «Plus». It provides users with additional features: full access to «Yandex.Music» without ads, discounts on «Taxi» and «Drive», extra storage on «Disk», and the ability to watch over 4000 movies and series on «KinoPoisk».
