The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the payment system «Mir» have signed a cooperation agreement. This was announced during the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2019.<\/p>\n

The agreement aims to enhance the effective and profitable use of national payment service tools. In particular, the parties intend to promote cashless payments.<\/p>\n

This primarily concerns government portals. Thus, the first step in implementing the project will be the cancellation of the bank commission for paying fines via the state services portal using «Mir» cards. Currently, the commission is 0.7&nbsp%;.<\/p>\n

In addition, the «Mir» payment system has signed a cooperation agreement with «VimpelCom» (the Beeline brand). This agreement involves the development of innovative payment services based on predictive data processing technology and artificial intelligence. It is expected that the results of this collaboration will allow the creation of personalized payment offers for «Mir» cardholders.<\/p>\n
