When preparing the distribution, the main focus is on stability \u2014 only tested components that have been validated by users of ROSA Desktop Fresh are included. The default programs include the Thunderbird email client with the Lightning organizer extension, the instant messaging application Pidgin with avahi-bonjour support (working without a central server), the LibreOffice office suite, image editors GIMP and Inkscape, and the video editor KDEnlive.
