The concern \"Avtomatika,\" part of the state corporation Rostec, presented the advanced complex \"Sapsan-Bekas\" at the International Military-Technical Forum \"Army-2019,\" designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

\"Sapsan-Bekas\" is a mobile system built on the basis of a compact van. The complex is noted to be capable of incapacitating both civilian and military drones.<\/p>\n

\"Sapsan-Bekas\" is capable of continuous monitoring of airspace and identifying aerial objects using video and thermal imaging observation means.<\/p>\n

The arsenal of the complex includes radio technical detection and drone direction-finding tools, active radar, video and optoelectronic tracking systems, as well as a radio suppression subsystem.<\/p>\n

\"Sapsan-Bekas\" can detect drones at distances of up to 10 kilometers. Suppression of communication and control means for UAVs is carried out at distances of over 6 kilometers.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

The radio suppression of UAVs within the complex is performed by the \"Luch\" subsystem. It affects the navigation, control, and information transmission channels of the drone by emitting interference simultaneously across 11 frequency ranges. The system operates based on the principle of \"own-enemy\" \u2014 \"Luch\" does not affect UAVs whose information is pre-entered into the complex's database. <\/p>\n
