Developers from the Finnish studio Frozenbyte, along with publisher Modus Games announced<\/a><\/noindex> announced the fourth installment of their magical platformer series Trine back in October 2018, along with the debut trailer and screenshots have published<\/a><\/noindex> in March 2019. The game will be released this autumn on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Following this, a collection of all four parts called Trine: Ultimate Collection was announced for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. It has now been revealed that Switch owners will not be left out and will also be able to purchase the collection. Pre-orders are already being accepted, with a launch planned for autumn, although the exact date is still not announced. A new trailer was presented in conjunction with the announcement.<\/p>\n

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will tell a new story featuring the old characters: wizard Amadeus, knight Pontius, and thief Zoe, who will embark on a quest to rescue the missing prince Celia, known from the cooperative action game Nine Parchments by the same studio. During their journey through the magical kingdom, they will battle monsters that have invaded the world from the prince's nightmares. As usual, cooperative play is included.<\/p>\n
