The distribution is positioned as resource-friendly and offers a classic desktop layout. The size is of the boot image<\/a><\/noindex> 669 MB (x86_64, i386). Q4OS 3.8 is categorized as a long-term support release, with updates provided for at least 5 years.<\/p>\n

The package includes several proprietary applications, including 'Desktop Profiler' for quick installation of theme software bundles, 'Setup Utility' for installing third-party applications, and 'Welcome Screen' to simplify the initial setup, as well as scripts for installing alternative environments LXQT, Xfce, and LXDE.<\/p>\n
