Unlocking the potential of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards has proven to be quite simple. In his experiment, Igor Wallossek raised the power limit of the Radeon RX 5700 XT by an impressive 95%. Despite this, the actual power consumption did not increase as significantly: from 214 W to about 250 W. However, there were instances where consumption spiked to 300\u2013320 W, with the core voltage reaching 1.25 V. In this mode, the new AMD graphics card operated at clock speeds around 2.2 GHz, which is an excellent result.<\/p>\n

As for performance tests, the maximum overclocking at the highest power consumption allowed the Radeon RX 5700 XT to surpass the overclocked GeForce RTX 2070 Super and closely approach the GeForce RTX 2080 in the game Shadows of the Tomb Raider. This is truly impressive and also gives hope that AMD's AIB partners will release really powerful custom versions of the Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards.<\/p>\n
