Already, participants in the Advanced Protection program who have enabled synchronization in the Chrome browser will start receiving more reliable protection against risky downloads on the Internet automatically. This primarily concerns files that contain malicious code.<\/p>\n

Participants of the aforementioned program can activate the new feature if they have obtained special security keys. The additional protection is a relevant tool for journalists, businessmen, politicians, and others who regularly work with important documents requiring confidentiality. Once the new feature is activated, the Chrome web browser will warn the user that they are attempting to download a potentially dangerous file. Moreover, in some cases, automatic blocking of the download may be triggered. Google representatives state that this protection will help preserve user data confidentiality.<\/p>\n

The additional protection against downloading potentially dangerous files in the Chrome browser is part of the security offerings for those registered in the Advanced Protection program.
