Google Inc. has announced<\/a><\/noindex> regarding the cessation of the practice of assigning dessert names in alphabetical order to Android platform releases, and the transition to ordinary numeric numbering. The previously used scheme was borrowed from the practice of naming internal branches used by Google engineers, but it caused much confusion among users and third-party developers. The entire process of launching the developed application on the device has been completely restructured \u2014 instead of the 'Instant Run' mode, the 'Apply Changes' feature has been introduced, which uses a separate runtime for overriding classes on the fly instead of modifying the APK package, making the process of launching the application during code changes significantly more comfortable.<\/p>\n
