Available<\/a><\/noindex> release of the anonymous network I2P 0.9.42<\/a><\/noindex> and C++ client i2pd 2.28.0<\/a><\/noindex>. Let's remember that I2P is a multilayered anonymous distributed network operating over the regular internet, actively using end-to-end encryption that guarantees anonymity and isolation. Within the I2P network, one can anonymously create websites and blogs, send instant messages and emails, exchange files, and organize P2P networks. The basic I2P client is written in Java and can run on a wide range of platforms such as Windows, Linux, macOS, Solaris, etc. I2pd is an independent implementation of the I2P client in C++ and is distributed under a modified BSD license.<\/p>\n

In the I2P 0.9.42 release, work continues on speeding up the UDP transport implementation and enhancing the reliability of the encryption methods used in I2P. As part of the preparation for separating delivery into separate modules, i2ptunnel.config settings have been distributed across several configuration files tied to different tunnel classes. The ability to block connections from networks with different identifiers has been implemented (Cross-network prevention<\/a><\/noindex>). Packages for Debian have been updated to support the Buster release.<\/p>\n

In i2pd 2.28.0, support for RAW datagrams and command delimiters «\r\n in the SAM (Simple Anonymous Messaging) protocol has been implemented. It is now possible to disable optimizations to save battery life on the Android platform. Network identifier checks have been added, and processing and publication of encryption flags in LeaseSet2 have been implemented.
