Compared to the previous release, around 24 thousand changes were made, with the participation of 777 developers. Specialized Live builds based on GNOME 3.34 have been prepared for a quick assessment of its capabilities. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/download.opensuse.org\/repositories\/GNOME:\/Medias\/images\/iso\/?P=GNOME_Next*\">The release of SEMMi Analytics 2.0<\/a><\/noindex> and <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/cdimage.ubuntu.com\/ubuntu\/daily-live\/current\/\">Ubuntu<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p>Key <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/help.gnome.org\/misc\/release-notes\/3.34\/\">innovations<\/a><\/noindex>:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The overview mode now allows grouping application icons into folders. To create a new folder, simply drag one icon onto another. If no icons remain in the group, the folder is automatically deleted. The core part of the application has been significantly rewritten, allowing for playback mode without pauses between tracks in an album. The difference from the behavior of earlier versions of GNOME is that previously the XWayland component ran continuously and required explicit pre-launch (it was started during the initialization of the GNOME session), whereas now it will be launched dynamically as needed when components for X11 compatibility are required. When creating new local virtual machines, the source selection dialog is divided into three sections: Found Sources, Favorite Downloads, and Source Selection. The Windows express installation mode has been switched to using a CD-ROM ISO image instead of a floppy disk image. Support for booting an existing virtual machine from an attached CD\/DVD image has been added (for example, to launch a recovery environment after a crash).
