On June 3rd, in the openSUSE mailing list, a certain Stasiek Michalski initiated a discussion regarding the possibility of changing the project's logo and name. Among the reasons he mentioned were the following:<\/p>\n

Similarity to the old version of the SUSE logo, which may cause confusion. There is also mention of the need to enter into an agreement between the future openSUSE Foundation and SUSE regarding the right to use the logo.\n<\/li>\n
