The grant amount is three million euros. The project is set to last for three years. Mozilla <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/triagegirl\/status\/1184988341923540993\">open<\/a><\/noindex>  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/careers.mozilla.org\/position\/gh\/1666741\/\">has a vacancy<\/a><\/noindex> for a machine learning systems specialist to participate in the development of an engine for translating from one language to another.<\/p>\n<p>Related developments concerning the Bergamot project <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/browser.mt\/software\">include<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The machine translation framework developed at the University of Edinburgh <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/marian-nmt.github.io\/\">Marian<\/a><\/noindex>, built on a recurrent neural network. The basis of the project is the bot <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/bitextor\/\">bitextor<\/a><\/noindex>, which indexes multilingual websites and automatically finds identical texts presented in multiple languages. The database of parallel translation examples is being formed for 24 languages, including Russian (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/paracrawl.eu\/releases.html\">Database<\/a><\/noindex> for the Russian language occupies 637MB when compressed and includes over 12 million translation examples).\n<\/ul>\n<p>The development of Bergamot started in January of this year, but the project's work is still <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/browser.mt\/software\">available<\/a><\/noindex> for public testing.
