The update <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/devices.ubuntu-touch.io\/\">has been formed<\/a><\/noindex> is available for smartphones like OnePlus One, Fairphone 2, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2013, Meizu MX4\/PRO 5, Bq Aquaris E5\/E4.5\/M10. As in the previous release, the preparation of OTA-11 focused on bug fixes and enhancing stability. The next update promises to transition the firmware to new releases of Mir and the Unity 8 shell. The transition to the new Unity 8 will result in the discontinuation of support for smart scopes and the integration of the new App Launcher interface. Furthermore, there are expectations for full support of an environment for running Android applications based on the developments of the project. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/anbox.io\/\">Anbox<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p>Key Changes: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> The on-screen keyboard has added advanced text editing features, allowing users to navigate through entered text, undo\/redo changes, select blocks of text, and copy or paste text from the clipboard. To activate the advanced mode, it is necessary to press and hold the spacebar on the on-screen keyboard (in the future, it is planned to simplify the activation of advanced mode). The on-screen keyboard also includes optional support for the Dvorak layout and has established a single dictionary for spell correction with different layouts.\n<li class=\"l\"> In the built-in Morph browser, based on the Chromium engine and QtWebEngine, a model for associating settings with individual domains has been implemented.<br \/>\nThis improvement has enabled the implementation of features in the browser such as saving the selected zoom level for websites, selective control over access to location data at the site level (to override general settings of 'Always allow' or 'Always deny'), launching external applications through URL handlers (for example, clicking on 'tel:\/\/' links can trigger the call interface), and maintaining a blacklist or whitelist of disallowed or only permitted resources.<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> The client and server for push notifications are no longer tied to the user's account in Ubuntu One. Now, to receive push notifications, it is sufficient for the applications to support this service.\n<li class=\"l\"> Improved support for devices shipped with Android 7.1, including additional audio handlers needed for making calls.\n<li class=\"l\"> On Nexus 5 smartphones, issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hanging, leading to excessive CPU load and rapid battery drain, have been resolved.\n<li class=\"l\"> Resolved issues with receiving, displaying, and processing MMS messages.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ubports.com\/blog\/ubports-blog-1\/post\/october-2019-status-of-ubuntu-touch-on-librem-5-smartphone-250\">discussed<\/a><\/noindex> on the status of the UBports porting for the smartphone <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51560\">Librem 5<\/a><\/noindex>.
