Available<\/a><\/noindex> desktop-oriented distribution release GhostBSD 19.10<\/a><\/noindex>, built on the platform TrueOS<\/a><\/noindex> and offering MATE desktop environment. By default, GhostBSD uses the OpenRC initialization system and ZFS file system. It supports both Live mode operation and installation on a hard drive (using its own installer ginstall, written in Python). Boot images are created<\/a><\/noindex> for x86_64 architecture (2.3 GB).<\/p>\n

The new version provides the ability to perform a dual boot installation on UEFI systems that already have other operating systems installed. Boot settings have been modified in the ISO image running in Live mode. The service for mounting network partitions has been removed from the distribution (netmount<\/a><\/noindex>).<\/p>\n
