A year ago, I was learning C, mastering GTK, and during that time, I wrote a wrapper for Wine that simplifies the configuration of many tedious tasks. Currently, I neither have the time nor energy to finish the project, but it includes a convenient feature that adapts the Wine theme to the current GTK3 theme, which I extracted into a separate console utility. I know that Wine-staging has a 'mimicry' feature for the GTK theme, but it is poorly implemented\u2014some widgets stop responding or disappear completely, and this has been the case for several years, so my solution is much more usable, though far from perfect. <\/p>\n

The utility 'extracts' colors from the current GTK-3 theme and optimally adjusts them for use with WinAPI widgets. The algorithm is optimized for both light and dark themes. Unfortunately, the characteristics of themes like 'Windows 95' do not allow for a modern flat design; in any case, some widgets are displayed incorrectly. For picky users, there are several options for more precise adjustments. <\/p>\n

Usage:
--prefix, -p $PATH -- path to the prefix<\/p>\n

--not-run-winecfg, -w -- do not run Winecfg after applying the theme<\/p>\n

--loader-dir, -l $DIR -- path to any Wine loader, for example, \"\/opt\/wine-staging\/bin\"<\/p>\n

--set-default, -d -- reset all color modifications and return to defaults<\/p>\n

--main-color, -m $COLOR -- custom background color for widgets, for example, \"#fa4500\"<\/p>\n

--highlight-color, -c $COLOR -- color for highlighting selected widgets<\/p>\n

--active-color, -a $COLOR -- color for the active window title<\/p>\n

--inactive-color, -i $COLOR -- color for the inactive window title<\/p>\n

--text-color, -t $COLOR -- text color<\/p>\n

--contrast, -c $VALUE -- sets the contrast of the final theme, from 0.1 to 2.0, default is 1.0<\/p>\n
