For download <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/openmandriva\/files\/release\/4.1\/\">it is recommended to<\/a><\/noindex> A live build of 2.6 GB (x86_64), build 'znver1', optimized for AMD Ryzen, ThreadRipper, and EPYC processors, as well as variants of that build based on the kernel compiled by Clang. <\/p>\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.openmandriva.org\/IMG\/jpg\/omlx.4.1-01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Release of the OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 distribution\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/d08da2d1a79760682da03682aae230d6.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>In <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.openmandriva.org\/en\/4.1\/Release_Notes\/\">new version<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> In addition to the standard Linux kernel compiled with GCC (package 'kernel-release'), a variant of the kernel compiled with Clang ('kernel-release-clang') has been added. Clang is already used in OpenMandriva as the default compiler, but the kernel had to be compiled with GCC until now;\n<li class=\"l\"> The Clang compiler used for building packages has been updated to LLVM 9.0 branch. All components of the distribution can now be built using only Clang;\n<li class=\"l\"> Zypper has been proposed as an alternative package manager;\n<li class=\"l\"> New versions of Linux kernel 5.5, Glibc 2.30, systemd 244, Java 13, Qt 5.14.1, KDE Frameworks 5.66, KDE Plasma 5.17.5, KDE Applications 19.12.1, LibreOffice 6.4.0, Falkon 3.1.0, Krita 4.2.8, Kdenlive 19.12.1, SMPlayer 19.10.2, DigiKam 7.0.0 have been integrated;\n<li class=\"l\"> Firefox 72.0.2 is also available in the repositories,<br \/>\n the Chromium browser 79.0.3945.130,<br \/>\n VirtualBox 6.1.2,<br \/>\n Thunderbird 68.4.1,<br \/>\n GIMP 2.10.14;<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> A Desktop Presets configurator (om-feeling-like) has been added, offering a set of presets that allow the KDE Plasma desktop to resemble the interfaces of other environments (like Ubuntu, Windows 7, Windows 10, macOS, etc.);\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.openmandriva.org\/IMG\/jpg\/omlx.4.1rc-02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Release of the OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 distribution\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/eac4b975ba0f466aaba9c361055887f9.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Support for package compression using the zstd algorithm has been added instead of the previously used 'xz'. Rebuilding packages in zstd format resulted in a slight increase in package size but significantly faster unpacking;\n<li class=\"l\"> Support for the AV1 video codec has been added to the Ffmpeg package using dav1d and nvdec\/nvenc for NVIDIA GPUs. VAAPI support for hardware video decoding in h264 and vp9 formats has been enabled in Chromium;\n<li class=\"l\"> NX Firewall has been proposed instead of firewall-config to simplify firewall configuration; <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/nx-desktop\/nx-firewall\">The number of available desktop environments in the repository has been
